Fortnite Dances: What is the Floss-Dance / Flossing? + More Dances (Meaning)

The game "Fortnite" inspires millions of children, teenagers, and young adults. One reason for this is the countless dances; In total there are over 55 dances and new dances are released again and again. Some of them, such as the Floss-Dance or the L-Dance, are re-danced worldwide and not only by children but also by football players. In this article, we present the Fortnite dances.

The Fortnite dances are also called emotes and are modeled on real dances or dance movements. The Fortnite publisher Epic Games can easily transfer the dances into the game, as the dance movements are not protected by copyright and can now be very difficult to protect.

Importance of dances for Fortnite

The dances play a special role in the game Fortnite. They serve as a recognition symbol and a symbol for status. The game is free and items that affect the course of the game in favor of the buyer cannot be purchased. Only cosmetic items and a Battle Pass can be purchased. Thus, the hierarchy of players only develops according to abilities and players with a lot of money cannot buy game progress or victory(!).
Some dances are only temporary. This means that after an event they are removed from the game. This means that the dance is then something exclusive, as only participants of the event have it.

PS1 emulators: gamble with pSX and Co. PS1 games on pc

Shortly before the release of the PS4, Sony's next-gen console, we'll look back at the beginnings of PlayStation. Oh, were those still times with WipeOut, Destruction Derby, Resident Evil, Tony Hawk and Co. But these games don't have to dust on your shelf. With pSX we introduce you to a very successful PS1 emulator.

Well, the games will dust off, because you don't have to squeeze them into your CD drive to enjoy the retro classics again on the PS1 emulator pSX. We'll explain how to gamble PS1 games on PC.

PS1 Emulator: Play PS1 games on PC

Before you start, we have to say a note: The PS1 emulator pSX contains (as is common for emulators) no games and also not the BIOS file SCPH1001.bin required to run. Downloading this data is also not legal unless you own the game disks you want to download as PS1 roms and a PlayStation console.

Do you want to dive into the nostalgic feeling you had when you gambled with the first PlayStation controller Crash Bandicoot, Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey, Pandemonium, Gran Turismo, Ridge Racer or Metal Gear Solid? With various PS1 emulators (presented below) you get this feeling on the PC monitor.

Download PS1-Roms or create them yourself?

Downloading ROMs (read-only memory) from the Internet, i.e. relevant Rome and emulator pages, is not entirely legal. So where do the games come from?

The only safe and, above all, legal approach is to create your own backup. Of course, you have to own the original for that. It is often stated on The Rome pages that if you have the original, you can download the ROM. However, this is not legal and for this reason we will not give any link tips at this point.

Just slide your PS1 CD into your drive and start the emulator
You can now either play directly from the CD or drag the said backup copy to the hard drive using a burner
You also need to download the SCPH1001.bin and d3dx9_26.dll files (if the latter is an error message) and copy it to the emulator's Bios folder.

The best PS1 emulators

Psx

unfortunately, pSX is no longer being developed, but is nevertheless a tried and tested PlayStation emulator for the PC. In addition to playing PSOne games, you can also determine graphics, sound and keyboard layout yourself and also create cheats and freeze savegames.

pcsX reloaded

The PS1 pcSX emulator has been in existence since 2000 and frequently changed developers in the following years. With the reloaded version, however, the emulator has now found its home under the GNU license and does not require an extra BIOS file to play the files.

An update on everything: Stardew Valley reinvents itself in November

The Everything update for Stardew Valley loops virtually the entire game around and expands it with new features, including a new multiplayer map.

Stardew Valley    was released in 2016. Developer Eric Barone, known by his pseudonym Concerned Ape, continues to provide the popular farm simulation with new updates. Perhaps the largest of these will be available free of charge to players with Patch 1.4 starting November 26. And the fact that it doesn't do half things is already illustrated by the patch's nickname: "Everything Update", i.e. the all-update.
Although the developer is still silent about the complete content of Stardew Valley 1.4, some innovations are already known. So we can grow our own fish and farm on a new multiplayer map with three friends in the co-op. In addition, new accounts will be available to multiplayer players to manage the assets. In addition, there are unspecified new endgame content.

A matter of the heart

If you like to spend your time in Stardew Valley with social activities, you can also look forward to version 1.4. After all, each NPC gets its own 14-heart event, which starts when you enter into the covenant of marriage with him. These special events are triggered when you gain someone's maximum affection.
This isn't all of what's already known: Passionate photographers get a  new screenshot tool  that allows you to take pictures of the entire farm.
Furthermore, the developer explains that Stardew Valley 1.4 "expands or improves almost every aspect of the game in any way". This eliminates many old bugs and generally increases user comfort. You can read the full blog post on the release date of the new update in the developer blog.
